Hi, I’m Kirstie
I’m a family photographer based just south of the Gold Coast in Murwillumbah, and a mum to three girls. Motherhood has shaped the way I photograph families, and taught me that the moments worth remembering are rarely the perfectly organised ones.
I’m far more interested in the way your children move, climb all over you and find their way back into your arms when no one is trying too hard.
My sessions are relaxed and documentary led, with plenty of room for children to be themselves. I photograph families at home and outdoors across the Gold Coast, from Currumbin and Palm Beach to Burleigh and the surrounding hinterland.
When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll usually find me surfing, bringing an old piece of furniture back to life, or sitting somewhere sunny with a good book.

Planning family photos while visiting the Gold Coast?
If you’re visiting the Gold Coast and would love to remember this trip properly, we can plan a session without it taking over your holiday. I photograph families from Rainbow Bay up to Miami, so we can choose somewhere close to where you’re staying.
During summer, early mornings are cooler and the beaches are much quieter. In winter, afternoon sessions are lovely because sunset isn’t ridiculously late. I’ll help you choose a time and place that works for your children, rather than expecting everyone to rearrange the entire day for photos.
We can also stay at your holiday house or apartment. Your family doesn’t need to be perfectly dressed or on its best behaviour. The point is simply to remember what this season felt like while you were all in it.ssion flows.

Your children don’t need to stand still, smile on cue or be on their best behaviour. We’ll let them play, explore and come back to you when they’re ready.
